As always in collaboration between ANPI UK & Ireland and the active Scottish section of the Partito Democratico, this year’s Liberation in Glasgow was another great success!
Throughout the day we had the pleasure of listening to some speakers and friends, including Prof. Maud Bracke and Dr. Omar Feraboli. The former spoke about the role, obstacles and strategies adopted by couriers and partisan fighters, in a role that saw women – Italian and otherwise – play a much more active role in the Resistance than has been celebrated to date. Women in the Italian Resistance (1943-45):
A fight on many fronts

As always, we thank all the participants, those who, before anyone else, make up this Festival and make the Liberation the special moment it is for all of us.
